Born with cerebral palsy and a love of sports, Jeff Hobbs grew up dreaming of becoming an athlete. Due to countless rejections, including those from his own family and a “no cut” football team, Jeff spent much of his youth on the sidelines. Ever persistent, Jeff ultimately earned his chance to compete; since then he has been shattering stereotypes and breaking down barriers!
He is the first person with quadriplegia to compete in the Chicago Marathon, which was documented in "GUTS: The Jeff Hobbs Story," as filmed by Comcast SportsNet Chicago. As a motivational speaker. Jeff teaches us to embrace struggles, conquer obstacles, and grow our mentality.
