The Coach My name is Marlo Higgins and I know success. I have sat in boardrooms and at kitchen tables, in coffee shops and in skyscrapers, helping people connect to their values and talents. I am based in the Iowa City area, but have clients nationwide that have utilized my systematic approach to business and beyond.
I have extensive experience in the following: Leadership, Sales, Negotiations, Consulting, Coaching, Assessing and Presenting. Whether I’m meeting people one-on-one, in a small group, or presenting to a crowd, my mission is to draw out passions and ignite individuals to action.
Over the years, I have found there are two types of clients that I serve. Which one do you identify with?
A-Gamers – You are on track to do BIG things. You see the goal, and feel the desire and motivation to get there. My role in this relationship is to help you identify exactly what your plans look like and to push you further. What if you could surpass your own expectations? As a visionary and leader, I can help you evaluate your goals and create a systematic approach to going bigger than you thought possible.
B-Gamers – You know what you want, but aren’t quite sure how to get there. I love these opportunities, because I am able to witness success from the ground up. There is personal satisfaction for me in seeing and hearing the transformation of a life. I have heard “it would be really great if…” turn into “here’s what I just did!” on so many occasions. Inside every “B Gamer” is an “A Gamer” waiting to lace up their sneakers and run. As your coach, I will be there to break down the game plan and commit to seeing you succeed.
The Game Changer
When met with obstacles in my daily life, I’m often referred to as “strong”, “determined” or even “relentless” but, it’s more than that. One of the most freeing moments in my life was when I decided that there was nothing to be afraid of. Trying and failing is still a success, because I can always recover and try again. It’s that simple – and I live for simple.
My purpose is helping others understand that it’s okay to just go for it. Too often, we get caught up in “what if?” and my passion is introducing an even more important question: “why not?”
I’ve got the strategy. You’ve got the passion. Let’s do this.
